An app to help in the purchase of a home
An app to help in the purchase of a home
BBVA offers a free application to its customers that allows them to access information about the area in which the property is located, the estimated price or the surface of the house, among other information
BBVA customers who are thinking of buying or renting a home have a new application that provides them with information about the property they plan to purchase. In addition, based on the information provided in the tool, BBVA offers customers the possibility of having an idea about their payment capacity, informing them of the financing possibilities for the purchase of the home, as well as previous suggestions before to formalize the purchase.
The digital tool provided by Madiva Soluciones allows customers, by only including in the search engine the location or address of the property, a report on the area or neighborhood in which it is located, the number of homes for sale or estimated average price of the home.
Once the location is selected, the tool also allows the search for additional information of the exact neighborhood in which the property is located, such as the equipment of the area (schools, shopping centers, etc.), as well as the age and size of the properties .
Big Data
To provide this information, Big Data technology is key, through the use of advanced data analytics in an integrated manner in the various business units of the entity to promote their transformation. One of the key points in the digital transformation is the intelligent use of information, they say from BBVA.
This new service integrates three functions in a single tool. First, it allows you to explore a specific area of Spain where the client is thinking of buying a home. Secondly, if the client has identified the property that he plans to buy, the tool allows access to an estimate of the exit price and the price at which it could be negotiated. The information takes into account the official data of the Cadastre and similar properties for sale in that area, respectively, among other factors. This price estimate is an aid to the customer in the purchase or negotiation and does not replace the official valuation.
Among the data that also have access is the year of construction, the area or the evolution of the price of the square meter in the last year. All this, in a very visual format, since the tool has search maps and with the visualization of the buildings through images.
Individualized study
In addition, the user can also have a first idea of whether their economic capacity allows them to acquire the property. The tool carries out a simulation on what the financing of the purchase would mean for the client. With the introduction of annual income and the estimated years to finance the purchase, the application makes a study estimate of what the customer should pay monthly, whether you choose a fixed or variable mortgage. In this way, the client will have a first idea of the cost necessary to buy the home.
BBVA wants to accompany and help its clients in their most important purchasing decisions, making innovations available to them on an ongoing basis to facilitate their relationship with us to the fullest and give them the best experience, says Gonzalo Rodríguez, director of Digital Transformation at BBVA Spain. Buying a home is an important decision, in which doubts and concerns arise.
